Basta sollevare un pomolo per cambiare posizione. Con questo particolare attacco si possono usare tutti i modelli di scarponi da sci e da alpinismo di tipo ramponabile. Si possono montare anche attacchi da snowboard (Burton compresi) come richiedono quegli snowboarder che vogliono salire con pelli di foca ai piedi e scendere con una tavola. Per facilitarne il trasporto è disponibile anche uno speciale zainetto portasci.
